ISSC IPC-300 PLC System

When first released in the late 1970’s by Industrial Solid State Controls, the IPC-300 was a world beating system with highly advanced features. The range was so successful, particularly in the automotive sector, that it was acquired by Honeywell and later marketed under the IPC brand in Europe.

ISSC IPC-300 is a modular system with two possibilities for I/O expansion. Originally only 8 point modules were available but later a high density 19” rack I/O system with 16 point cards became developed. Digital, analogue and special function modules are allowed in any mix up to 2048 points.

The IPC-300 is programmed using a dedicated terminal with user programs saved on tape. An MS-DOS documentation package is also available.

Applied Automation is now struggling to support the IPC 300 range but can offer an easy upgrade path to the current IPC620. Please contact us for details.
