Micro Innovation xSystemV HMI-PLC

The Micro Innovation xSystemV series HMI is so versatile that it can make almost any industrial or building control system more intuitive and efficient.

Available in sizes from 5.7" to 15" these HMI-PLCs have mono or high resolution colour touch screens. Built-in communications ports for Ethernet, USB, Profibus, CANopen, Modbus, DeviceNet and RS232/422/485 ensure that connection to all major PLCs and fieldbuses is simple and straightforward.

The XV can also include full PLC functionality via an embedded CoDeSys IEC 61131-3 runtime system. When combined with fieldbus I/O such as Micro Innovation xSystemN, the entire automation and visualisation task is handled by the HMI-PLC.

With multi-language support the XV enables machine builders to offer a single solution to the world market.

The configuration is held on a standard compact flash which lets users install updates with a simple card swap.

HMI and PLC programs are developed using a standard Windows PC with Galileo and MXPro. Full visualisation testing and PLC simulation is available on the PC with no need for the HMI to be present. Transfer to the HMI is via either direct cable connection, network/internet or a CF card in the PC.

Remote network monitoring and control of the HMI is a standard, user enabled, feature.
